FZE "B" Team
Fort Zumwalt East proudly fields both Varsity and B-Level teams each season, providing student-athletes of varying experience and skill levels the opportunity to compete, develop their abilities, and represent their school community with pride.
The Fort Zumwalt East Hockey Club is a non-profit organization committed to offering competitive high school hockey opportunities for students in grades 7–10 who reside within the Fort Zumwalt East High School attendance boundaries. While the program operates independently as a non-school-sponsored club, our teams proudly compete under the Lion name and logo.
Our players, coaches, and families are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of character, sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect. Whether on the ice, in the classroom, or within the community, we strive to represent Fort Zumwalt East with integrity, excellence, and unwavering Lion Pride.

Games
B-Team Season Information
The B-Team regular season typically consists of approximately 10 league games, providing players with meaningful opportunities to compete, develop their skills, and gain valuable game experience throughout the spring season.
League play generally begins during the last week of March and runs through mid-June, allowing athletes to apply the skills and concepts learned during practices in a competitive environment.
Games are designed to help players continue their development by building hockey IQ, teamwork, confidence, and overall game awareness while representing Fort Zumwalt East with pride. Our goal is to provide a positive and competitive experience that prepares players for future success within the Fort Zumwalt East Hockey program.
Practices
B-Team Practice Information
The B-Team typically practices 1–2 times per week beginning in December, providing players with consistent opportunities to develop their skills and prepare for league play.
Practices are held at either the St. Peters Rec-Plex or Wentzville Ice Arena, depending on ice availability and scheduling.
Each session is led by our experienced coaching staff and is designed to help players improve all aspects of their game. Practices focus on skill development, hockey IQ, skating, puck control, positioning, and game situations, giving athletes the tools and knowledge needed to build confidence and elevate their performance on the ice.
Our goal is to create a positive and challenging environment where players can grow as hockey players, teammates, and competitors while preparing for the next level of competition.
