2026 FZE Hockey Summer Skates

We are excited to offer our FZE Summer Skate Program as we prepare for the upcoming season. Our coaching staff has put together a program focused on skill development, hockey IQ, and preparing players for success during the 2026-2027 season.

Program Details:

🏒 Summer Skates: July 6 – August 25

🏒 One skate per week

🏒 Led by the Fort Zumwalt East Coaching Staff

🏒 Focus on skating, puck skills, shooting, game situations, and overall player development

🏒 Includes the FZE Tryout Skate at the beginning of August

💲 Registration Fee: $150

Grade Levels

Whether you're a current FZE player, play for another high school program, or are looking to stay sharp during the offseason, you're welcome to join us on the ice this summer.

✅ Eligible Players Must Be Entering:

• 7th Grade

• 8th Grade

• 9th Grade

• 10th Grade

• 11th Grade

• 12th Grade

• July 6 – 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

• July 13 – 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

• July 20 – 8:10 PM to 9:10 PM

• July 27 – 8:10 PM to 9:10 PM

• August 4 – 5:50 PM to 6:50 PM

• August 11 – 5:50 PM to 6:50 PM

• August 18 – 5:50 PM to 6:50 PM

• August 25 – 5:50 PM to 6:50 PM

Varsity Tryout

We will be holding our Varsity Tryout Skate in early August as we begin preparations for the upcoming season.

We are currently finalizing ice time and scheduling details and expect to announce the official date very soon.

All players interested in competing for a Varsity roster spot are encouraged to attend. This is your opportunity to showcase your skills, compete with fellow players, and earn your place on the 2026-27 Fort Zumwalt East Varsity Hockey Team.

Jerseys

To help our coaching staff run efficient and organized practices, all players are expected to bring both a light jersey and a dark jersey to every skate and practice.

Having both jersey colors available allows us to quickly divide teams for drills, scrimmages, and game-situation work without interruptions, maximizing our time on the ice.
